My boyfriend had been up all night playing his xbox 360 as usual. He frequently goes to sleep around 7 or 8 in the morning. This being said when 4pm rolled around and the kids that were here had been running up and down the stairs very loudly he woke up and yelled at them to quit running in the house. His aunt, who had been drinking most of the day got angry and began yelling at my boyfriend. Her screaming had nothing to do with the fact that he had yelled at the kids. She began to yell about her being the only one that does anything around the house, that no one else pays on any bills, that everyone is lazy. My boyfriend stood up for me saying that I do the dishes and though we haven't paid on any bills all the food in the house came from us, as did the dish soap (which she can go through a medium sized bottle in one day) as well as the deodorant she was using, the toothpaste etc.
The screaming escalated and she began to push him. She then threatened that she was going to kill him and began reaching into the drawer where we keep the knives. My boyfriend's cousin (her son) was trying to hold my boyfriend away from her and telling his mom to calm down. She then proceeded to say that since we don't do the dishes or wipe the table that we can't use any of her things. Her other son then came down the stairs and told her to calm down. He asked her why she gets so angry over petty things when she drinks. Her claim was that she had not been drinking. He said, "Mama, I saw you drinking beer in your room just an hour ago."
She finally went to her bedroom and my boyfriend came into our room. I was angry and shaking. I told him that we really need to get out of this place and soon. He of course agreed..
